Position : Electrical Controls Engineer

Position Summary:
An Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for the programming of custom automated packaging equipment that meets individual customer requirements.
Programming can include the integration of auxiliary equipment such as robotics, vision systems, labelers and other devices.
In addition to programming the Engineer must generate the electrical and pneumatic schematics, design the control panel layout and maintain a list of purchased parts.
The ideal candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to meet deadlines and complete work accurately.

Requirements:
Mechanical aptitude
CAD schematic design experience
PLC controls (Allen Bradley - ControlLogix)
HMI (Allen Bradley - FactoryTalk View)
Self-Motivated
Sensor integration experience
Electrical hardware design experience
Minimum of 5 years experience

Desired Experience:
Design of packaging and/or automated equipment
Electrical Schematic design and drafting using AutoCAD Electrical
Allen Bradley- RSLogix 5000 PLC/HMI/Motion
Multi-axis servo motion control (Servo, DC, VFD, & Stepper Drives)
Concept, design, debug, validation and installation
SCADA integration
Vision Inspection & Vision Guided motion (Cognex InSight)
