PROJECT MANAGER
Our client is located in La Mirada, California, we have an immediate
opening for a Project Manager.
Summary
The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific projects which has a beginning, an end and specified deliverables. The Project Manager reports to the Commercial Solutions Division Manager and complies with standard policies and procedures to ensure project is on-time and under budget.
Responsibilities
Manage the implementation of programs and projects, develops schedules to ensure project milestones are met
Define and develop scope of project in collaboration with manager and clients
Responsible for tracking and documenting progress of projects by maintaining accurate records and project files
Planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs and projects
Coordinating project activities for field team members & collaborating with project team members
Execute the project according to the project plan & workflow
Develop forms and records to document project activities
Communicate progress of all projects both verbal and in project management plans.
Prepares agendas for meetings, documents key decisions and collaborates with other team members to develop project collateral
Writes and disseminates work plans and project documents, including procedures, proposals, progress reports, bills, invoices and presentations
Facilitates meetings when necessary, contributing to planning & decision making
Coordinate project resources and liaise with project stakeholders to collect and disseminate project information
Manage the budget for small projects, or components of larger projects under the general direction of the Commercial Solutions Division Manager
Acts as NetSuite administrator for the department; fulfillment, invoicing, case management, and data activity tracking
Answer calls for the commercial call center on a rotational basis
Update procedures and processes as directed by the departmental manager
Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
Travel up to 25% locally and 20% overnight, determined on a project by project basis
Other projects as assigned
Qualifications
Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in written form
4+ years of Project Management experience with sound technical skills
ERP experience desired; NetSuite preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Have a working knowledge of work breakdown structure (WBS) and earned value management (EVM) is preferred.
Superior knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Must be able to pass Department of Justice Live Scan screening and pre-employment drug and background screens
Clean DMV record required to drive company vehicle to site locations
