POSITION SUMMARY Manage all aspects of a 2 million tons of production across three locations. Supervise a workforce of approximately 25 employees. Provide strong leadership, training, team building and supervision with an emphasis on employee development. Manage all mine planning, operational, financial, safety, environmental, personnel, and community relations duties at the mine in accordance with company programs, policies, and guidelines as well as government agencies including MSHA and the EPA. REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering (Civil or Mining) or Business, strongly recommended •Professional Engineer or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) and experience with AggQC preferred •10 years of Plant Management experieince preferred •Experience interacting with governmental agencies •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Proficient experience with Microsoft Office systems and ability to learn Martin Marietta systems •Ability to work extended hours, weekend and nights, where necessary
