IT Project Manager - Infrastructure / Telecom
Managing a Telecom / Network Infrastructure project and should possess the following key attributes:
Bright, smart, aggressive, articulate, and professional
MUST be able to lead and make decisions
MUST be able to hold his/her own in an audience with senior management and has image and presence, an edge
Requirements:
•Certified PMP with BS Degree
•Experience with MS Project Server 2010 that includes project resources submitting timesheets
•Experience with IT Infrastructure / Telecom projects in the areas of data / voice networks, firewalls, radio, wireless, remote access, circuits, carriers, network management systems
•Experience with hardware/software lifecycle, new technology rollouts, network tools implementations
Experience leading cross-functional Information Technology Infrastructure projects
Experience with managing a project budget provide forecasts, variance explanations, etc.
Highly organized, functions well in a high-intensity, constantly changing environment.
A technical background is helpful as the project is IT infrastructure / Telecom related.
Good Communication skills verbal and written, candidate should be able to collaborate quickly with other teams outside of the core project team to find solutions, be able to articulate and explain technical situations in simple business language for the business stakeholders of the project. Speed with purpose and message tailored for the audience.

Project Delivery
•Ensure Project Delivery of a Telecom / Network Infrastructure project with high quality, on time and on budget while following a Project Life Cycle process, including the documentation of all project deliverables within designated repositories, i.e., SharePoint and MS Project Server.
•Ensure that all project status updates and project documents (i.e. project plans, issues, risks and change requests) are delivered in an efficient and effective manner
•Ensure that all changes related to project scope follow the standard change control process and are clearly communicated internal (within IM) and external (to our internal customers)
•Support the development of a 2016 Business Case as applicable
Financial Stewardship
•Manage project budget(s) to include monthly forecasting, accruals, and variance explanations showing appropriate follow-up, research and due diligence in accordance with planned financial due dates and schedules
•For each project, seek opportunities to achieve operational savings through contracts, maintenance reductions, software reductions or any other means
•Manage vendors, as applicable, to ensure the quality and timely processing of vendor assigned deliverables (monitor invoicing, PO ($$ remaining in PO), SOW, coordinate with ISC, etc.)
Compliance
•Ensure ethical, moral compliance within the project team, i.e.,
•Sarbanes-Oxley and/or Audits
•Applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and the Code of Business Conduct
•Follow good safety practices; promote safety within the team
•Provide support of company emergency event activities and disaster recovery within designated roles
