QA Manager
Lead a team consisting of Quality Leads, QA Analysts dedicated to Application Development groups and offshore resources. The role is the champion for quality. This individual’s responsibilities include all quality assurance processes associated with new/modified code as well as regression testing. A key task is the implementation and maintenance of an automated testing capability that ensures that proper software quality processes are developed and executed.
Hands on that requires strategic thinking and planning to provide leadership and expertise throughout the entire QA lifecycle, ensuring the success of the team's manual and automation efforts.
Provide regular direction, mentorship, and coaching to QA team members.
Responsible for the work products (timing, budget, quality, completeness) of a small team, incl. staff development and satisfaction.
• Responsible for assuring high standards of quality throughout our SDLC.
• Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of software releases.
• Manage the software QA team, providing leadership and guidance for QA team members.
• Work alongside the software development team to ensure standard quality processes.
• Ensure a best practice regression process is established and maintained.
• Champion the development and use of automated testing.
• Continuously improve and optimize our QA processes and tools appropriately as the product scales and company grows.
• Ensure that proper functional and end-to-end testing is executed.
Requirements :
BS Degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering
Must have experience with automated testing tools
• Extensive experience championing software quality
• Detailed experience in quality testing processes and tools
• Detailed experience in developing and executing regression testing
• Functional knowledge of enterprise systems, ERP systems and custom development
• Experience defining test requirements in a complex application environment
• MUST have 2 years managerial experience in a quality assurance position
• Proven track record of success building, leading, and managing a functional and technical QA team
• Strong sense of quality ownership and feature advocation.
• Excellent oral and written communication
