Reporting to a Retail Banking Business Unit Controllers manager, this position will primarily work to coordinate and improve the timeliness and accuracy of reporting from the retail banking business to downstream users. This will involve tracking and reviewing reporting submissions as well as working on system enhancements to provide more efficient reporting capabilities.
Major Responsibilities:
• Coordinate regulatory reporting submissions for the retail banking business
• Prepare reports using Excel and other tools
• Act as a lead SME for regulatory reporting policy questions
• Propose automated reporting solutions to increase the efficiency of the department
• Promote understanding of data from consumer lending systems to downstream users
• Perform user acceptance testing of new system and product implementations
• Additional projects as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, preferably with an Accounting or business-related major
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail-oriented
• Strong verbal and written skills are required
• Must be able to work well in a collaborative, team environment
