***One position will end 4/1/16 and the other will end early 2016.
This is a temporary position that is needed to support the computerized maintenance management system conversions from Infor EAM to SAP.
The main role of this position is to support the parts inventory management function within SAP that will be built from scratch.
Key responsibilities are as follows:
1. Determine what parts to keep inventory in SAP.
2. Use owner's manuals, current standard operating procedures, previous purchase history, and maintenance mechanic's knowledge to research and create spart parts list for equipment.
3. Will use MS Excel templates for populating spreadsheets that will ultimately be loaded to the SAP PM computer system.
4. Will work with mechanics and management to determine required low inventory warnings / stock levels / reordering points.
5. Work with mechanics to provide inventory counts of current parts.
6. Determine cycle counts strateg.
7. Identify storage / bin locations
8. Label storage / bin locations
9. Validate and cleanse information in excel spreadsheets prior to and during data load into SAP.
Under limited supervision, monitors the inventory accuracy, identifies, documents and works to correct any issues causing a negative impact on the inventory integrity.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in related field from an accredited college or university, and minimum of three (3) to five (5) years related experience, preferably in a GMP maintenance environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Incumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, pushing and pulling, stooping and crouching climbing and walking, vision to monitor, occasional lifting of equipment or materials weighing up to 50 70 pounds.
