Applications Developer - Analyst:
Responsibilities include maintaining and developing Yield Book applications.
This position requires and rewards candidates with strong personal initiative, work ethic, and the ability to develop expertise in both fixed income markets and the technology needed to deliver analysis capabilities for these markets.
Must Haves:
* 3 plus years of working experience
* Masters degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Operations Research OR Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years experience will be considered with outstanding academic achievement
* Strong analytical abilities
* Excellent programming skills in VB .Net, C/C++, Java, and scripting languages. (will accept two of the three listed)
* Good knowledge of the UNIX/Linux environment.
* Good knowledge of the Windows environment.
* Strong database skills.
* Knowledge/experience with SQL programming languages in either a MS SQL Server or Sybase environment.
* Knowledge/experience with reporting, data extraction, and data collection is a plus.
* Design, develop, and support of SSIS packages is a plus.
* Experience with reporting software such as Jaspersoft or SSRS is a plus.
* Experience with Business Intelligence tools is a plus.
