Duration: Full Time

Primary Responsibilities
• NOC personnel will utilize the Client’s automation platform to monitor, review and respond to alerts/alarms and notify designated customer representatives. Upon receipt of an alert, personnel will use the provided platform and systems to assess the activity, make the necessary observations, and notify the customer (when necessary). NOC personnel must possess the judgment to understand situations using the information available through Client’s sensors on remote sites, and inform customers of potential risks of loss or damage to their property or infrastructure. NOC personnel must communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, and maintain a high degree of attention to detail throughout their shifts. Typical duties include:
• Follow Client NOC operating standards and procedures.
• Investigate and assess ALL alerts and event notifications.
• Providing event information to customer security personnel and/or representatives.
• Maintain a written log of events and activities.

Secondary Job Duties
• NOC personnel will, using the Client’s automation platform, monitor equipment status and configurations, and conduct first layer troubleshooting procedures. Equipment includes network camera, communications devices and other peripherals. Unresolved systems issues and equipment malfunctions will be reported via an internal ticketing system. Typical duties include:
• Follow and maintain corporate and department standards and procedures.
• Responsibility for the day to day site monitoring and trouble ticket initiation / escalation.
• Monitor trouble tickets and prioritize problems based on business impact.
• Provide customer support for software platform.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess awareness of basic software systems, critical thinking and problem solving skills, good communications skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Similar experience with OnStar, EnTune, ADT or equivalent customer focused operators is preferable. Experience debugging software problems and networking issues, and A+ and Network + certifications are preferred.
