SCOPE OF SERVICES
1. Assessing, defining and solving complex supply chain, transportation, inventory, and warehousing issues
2. Prioritizing and coordinating multiple vendors throughout the building including elevators, loading dock, storage, staging and deployment
3. Working with NYPD and FDNY in configuring building security and AV systems
4. Working effectively in a construction environment with both management and subcontractors
5. Engaging with public safety and stakeholder agencies to understand their needs, issues, concerns and potential barriers to migration
DELIVERABLE
A complete logistics project plan for all personal and technology into PSAC 2 including: a detailed planning for the sequence of technology move in, security and access plan, loading dock and delivery plan, inventory plan, detailed position by position, vendor by vendor console technology installation plan detailed Data Center and TRs cabinet move-in and rack and stack installation plan, coordination with Building Manager, DDC construction schedules and agency personnel
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCENote: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered
• At least 4 years of experience managing large scale company and data center moves
• At least 4 years of experience with complex AV Systems
• At least 3 years of experience with building systems including building security systems including CCTV
• At least 4 years of Project Management experience
• Experience preparing briefs and reviewing contract language for public safety technology projects
• Experience leading large group meetings/information gathering sessions with senior
level executives and excellent written and oral communication skills
• Extensive experience creating resource loaded project plans to support building and data center moves
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with ability to functional both the detail and conceptual levels
• Ability to work in cross functional teams; excellent attention to detail
• Candidate should be highly self-motivated and have strong customer and quality-focus
• Sound problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills;
• Experience working with technical and non-technical staff
DESIREABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Knowledge of NYPD, FDNY and/or EMS Operations preferred
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The PM will report to the ECTP Facilities Project Manager within the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications. This role requires experience and expertise in logistical planning, support and execution of large organizational moves and technology build out. This role also requires familiarity with Audio Visual Systems, data center builds and moves, and building security systems (card key, security cameras, etc.)
