ASHR Specialist I at BPM Bi Inc in New York, NY

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) is seeking a qualified consultant to assist the Department in increasing the number of daily users of its Automated student Health Record (ASHR) by providing on site technical and application assistance. The consultant will receive training on the Automated Student Health Record provided by DOHMH Bureau of School Health (BSH) staff and must demonstrate proficiency in using ASHR and be able to provide training to other users on usage of the application before embarking into the field
Consultant will participate primarily in software development in ASHR future version release. Specialist may also conduct analysis with ASHR management to assist with remediation of identified technical issues in a timely manner. Consultant will work on any applications needed by the bureau.
The Specialist will participate in development and software focus groups. The consultant will web program and develop data reports and conduct analytical services to derive reports from ASHR. ASHR is the electronic health record system for school health
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.
- At least one year of satisfactory computer operations or computer support.
- Basic operating experience of computer hardware software.
- Ability to trouble-shoot computer problems.
- 3+ years experience with development ASP.NET
- 3+ years experience with SQL server 2008 or 2010
- 2+ years developing reports from electronic health record systems
