Duration: Contract (6 months to start with) Strong possibility of extension

JAVA/J2EE DEVELOPER (CONTRACT)

J2EE developers with 5+ years of commercial Java Programming experience, required for position in Mississauga.

Requirements:

• Professional Experience with J2EE/ Java / JSP / Javascript at least 5 years
• Experience or working knowledge of the AGILE of SCRUM methodology
• Web Services, Networking & Protocols, Web security & Encryption, JMS experience is an asset
• (C# / ASP / VB Script may be considered as a reasonable substitute if you are strong in all other areas)
• Strong database skills (modeling and dba) at least 5 years
• Object Oriented Design
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Java Application Frameworks (e.g. Struts, MVC, Spring)
• Distributed systems
• Large system experience
• Database and application stress testing and tuning
• Web application design
