This position is responsible for developing, establishing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. It is also responsible for effectively managing the marketing department, its team, as well as advertising and promotional activities of the organization including operational planning and new product development to creative direction and refining the PR & events portion of our business. Responsibilities:
* Provide planning and leadership to the marketing department by ensuring that the appropriate structures and values are in place to meet and exceed the goals of the marketing plan
* Develop yearly marketing plans, assign budgets, and present to Executives
* Manage and develop marketing budgets
* Work closely with product management team to determine market requirements for existing and future products. Conduct and analyze consumer research, current market conditions, and competitor information.
* Develop and implement marketing plans for new and existing products
* Monitor, review, and maintain reports on all marketing activity, and develop KPIs to track results
* Manage direct media and advertising vendor relationships
* Provide creative direction for projects done in-house and with agency
* Identify PR opportunities, guide development of a PR plan, and provide vision for social media
* Lead website development, initiatives, vision, and strategy review Search Engine Optimization/Pay Per Click statistics and make corrective actions if needed
* Oversee and help create a new event and demo process, and lead in the planning. Execute ROI tools. Ensure alignment with cross functional teams: sales, finance, distribution, maintenance, and leadership.
* Monitor trademarks, coordinate with legal counsel on renewals and new opportunities
* Attend key events, championing the visibility of the brand among influential targets
