The Director is responsible for providing leadership, oversight and coordination of business and clinical activity within the assigned Health Care Service(s) through policies and procedures, orientation, on-going training, performance management and staff empowerment that supports the achievement of the optimal patient encounter. The Director will work with Assistant Director, Business, Assistant Director, Clinical, the Leadership Team and the Health Care Service Physician Leaders to develop and manage efficient and effective patient flow systems, achieve financial and operational targets, and coordinate services across the clinical units.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health or related field required. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Health Care Administration or a related area.

Experience:

Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in a health care management setting, preferably in an academic physician practice setting.

Knowledge:

Expert knowledge of physician practice operations and workforce development. Working knowledge of health care financial environment, professional revenue cycle, practice support systems and related business operations.

Drives Execution: Translates strategic priorities into operational realities; aligns communication, accountabilities, resource capabilities, internal processes, and ongoing measurement systems to ensure that strategic priorities yield measurable and sustainable results.

Leads Change: Identifies and drives organizational and cultural changes needed to adapt strategically to changing market demands, technology, and internal initiatives; catalyzes new approaches to improve results by transforming organizational culture, systems, or products/services.
