BSCHE 3-5yrs is the target maybe up to 6yrs. Exp.with HANDS on in the combustion, high temperature materials, material handling industry, specialty chemicals or related. Must have have Demonstrated exp with heat & material and energy balances and experience analyzing the data. Exp with waste heat recovery, environmental engineering processes, and process engineering design project management. Must have 3+ years of hands on in plant process/production Eng in a chemical or related chemicals material handling environment. Must be open to work some shift work as needed. This is a day job.
Performs engineering duties in support of Operations. Optimize and improve processes and activities at the operating facility through plant performance testing, monitoring and data analysis. Develop and employ process unit and plant-wide material and energy balances to evaluate and improve plant operation. Provide technical support to the plant focused on operational improvement, technology selection, optimization, and troubleshooting. He/she will also help develop test plans, execute the test plans, analyze the results, prepare the reports, make recommendations to Senior Management, and work on the implementation of the new plant improvements. Provide Technical leadership in broad deployment of improved technology. Work with the Corporate Technology group in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and plant optimization tools.
