Construction Project Manager - Bulk Fuels at Company Info Released upon Contact in Miami Lakes, FL

Our client, a leading and local South Florida engineering and construction company, is hiring a Bulk Fuels Construction Project Manager to work in the South Florida area (Miami-Dade and Broward Counties). Since most of the clients are local, little to no travel is required! JOB DUTIES:

• Manage all aspects of mechanical (fuel) related projects, including installation, modification and
demolition of bulk fuel underground/aboveground tanks and piping, hydrant fuel piping, hydrant
pits, drain downs, pigging, flushing, and civil related aspects of projects, including concrete
demolition and placement and dewatering;
• Manage the construction workflow process starting in the project origination phase, to include
estimating, negotiation, contracting, buyout, construction administration, financial management and
closeout;
• Meet with owners and clients to determine project requirements. Manage client satisfaction, and take
immediate action to respond to problems and concerns;
• Negotiate contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders to assure that all project goals are being
addressed;
• Ensure all aspects of the project are compliant with all contract terms and legal requirements that
govern the project and the community in which the project(s) takes place;
• Administer client-specific programs, such as Construction Quality Control, Safety and Environmental
Stewardship;
• Provide timely and cordial interaction with supporting work groups, such as accounting, HR, and other
internal support groups, and
• Ensure safe construction operations, high quality of work and financial success.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 5 to 10 years of directly related experience as a Mechanical Project Manager in the Aviation fueling
Industry;
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical (preferred) or Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Strong technical knowledge of the construction trades / process;
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Special Requirements, Registrations and Certifications:
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification;
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of Products and conventional project management software;
• Construction Quality Control Management Certificate from the USACE highly desirable;
• Project Management Professional Certification a plus; and,
• Safety Management Certifications.
• Available to travel up to 50%, when needed
