A consulting firm is in need of a suitable and well experienced person for this position
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all projects ongoing within the company
Work with appropriate customers to identify the roles of project team members, project reporting structures and frequency of interaction and any training requirements that may be needed
Define the responsibilities of parties involved in the project including customers, management, IT management, project team, vendors and others affected by the project.
Maintain effective communication and working relationships with customers and project team members.
Identify the technical approach to be used on a given project and manage the system development process including the development of a strategic plan
Develop Requests for Proposals (RFP), evaluates responses, and leads IT system selection teams.
Prepare and present oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations.
Travels as and when required to commence, monitor, and close out projects
