Electric Arc Furnace Supervisor needed! Job #1830
Location: Northern Kentucky (near Cincinnati)

Manufacturer looking for an EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) supervisor for their melt shop.
Manages EAF Operations for 2 EAFs within the Meltshop.
Trains, leads, and motivates subordinates to optimize man/machine interface to continuously improve the quality and productivity of the operating units. Sets productivity goals and standards to align work force to meet or exceed these requirements.
Coordinates and collaborates with other operations supervisors within the Meltshop as well as with Maintenance personnel on a daily basis.
Requires employees conformance to establish safety and housekeeping rules and procedures in order to maintain a safe and clean working environment, prevent accidents, and optimize productivity, quality and employee morale.
Will also work with equipment vendors and consumable suppliers to reduce costs and improve operation.
Preferably 4 to 5 years experience in operation of ferrous electric arc furnaces.
Have a metallurgical or mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Computer skills in terms of data analysis and verification.
Good communication skills in terms of both written and verbal.
