Company is seeking an experienced Ammonia Refrigeration Engineer. This is an engineering and design opportunity supporting the Industrial Refrigeration construction business by providing technical engineering information to project teams to ensure work complies with engineering standards.
Core responsibilities include designing refrigeration systems for food distribution centers, cold storage, and food processing facilities as well as developing flow diagrams, plans and specifications for refrigeration systems. Additionally, Refrigeration Engineers perform heat load calculations to determine facility refrigeration requirements and heat transfer and thermodynamic analysis associated with sizing and selection of refrigeration equipment, piping, and control valves.
This challenging engineering opportunity requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training, knowledge and experience. Successful completion of EIT or PE exam is preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of five to ten years related construction engineering and design experience and an extensive knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, building materials, engineering standards and codes, and be able to analyze complex engineering problems.
