Cardiovascular Operating Room RN needed! Job #1702
Location: Bremerton, Washington

Company is currently searching for an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse (CVOR).
Preference is for RN's who can scrub and circulate but they are also considering candidates with circulating experience only. Prefer a minimum of 2 years prior experience. Open Heart Team. Must have previous CVOR experience.
Facility Description:
The Main Operating Room consists of 12 rooms with two CVOR Suits and one Endovascular Suite. The facility performs 735-800 cases per month, there are approximately 220 CVOR specific cases per year. This is a diverse facility handling all types of procedures with the exception of transplants and LVADs
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Current registration as a RN in the State of Washington; Bachelors Degree in nursing preferred.
Additional education, certification & current education enrollment may substitute for a Bachelors Degree
SPECIALIZED TRAINING REQUIRED:
See Competency's for specialized units.
LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
Licensure as a Washington State RN as a basic level of competency. BLS certification. ACLS/PALS required based on area of assignment. NRP required based on area of assignment.
CONTINUING EDUCATION & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Continuing education & license renewal required annually; yearly educational day (YED) and other requirements as determined by the Director, Acute Care Services.
Fetal monitoring course every two years for Labor & Delivery RN's
Population Specific continuing competency requirements: Knowledge and expertise in providing care to assigned population
Certification as a health care interpreter in languages other than English a plus (Spanish, Mam, sign, etc.)
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork and problem-solving to achieve goals
Demonstrated skills in verbal communication and listening
Demonstrated skills in providing excellent service to customers
Job performance is based solely on the individual's ability to perform the essential job functions
This position requires the ability to participate in lifting or moving of physically challenged patients.
