Clinical Supervisor Position Opening
Who We Are
Outreach Concern is a non-profit 501(c)(3) school-based counseling agency created to assist students and their parents eliminate barriers impacting their performance. We have been providing counseling and support services to public, private and parochial schools in Los Angeles and Orange Counties for more than 22 years. We have a proven track record of making a significant difference in the lives of students and their families. Our on-campus counselors are managed by a team of Regional Field Supervisors whom direct their efforts within their school placements. They also receive ongoing direction from our Clinical Director, a professional with more than 38 years of experience in counseling, education, and organizational development.
Clinical Supervisor Duties
Provide Two-hour group supervision one/twice a week (preferably Wednesday afternoons 3:30-5:30 pm) from mid-September through mid-June. We need supervision groups located in the central and southeast LA region (downtown LA, east LA, Alhambra, Mid-City, Downey, etc). The supervision group takes place in your private practice or another setting (conference room, office, etc.) where 8 counselors can fit. A monthly stipend is provided, as well as referrals from local schools in the area in which the intern-counselors.
Clinical Supervisor Qualifications
Clinical Supervisors (LCSW) providing clinical supervision of Social Work students/trainees/interns must have been in practice under an appropriate license for a minimum of two years and if licensed by the BBS, must also have completed a six-hour supervision course.
The Clinical Supervisor must have an appropriate location (private practice, conference room, etc.) in the Greater Los Angeles Area or Orange County where a supervision group can be held.
