Williamson Employment Services is looking for a 2nd shift full time Tracker in the South Bend area.
Monday thru Friday 3:30pm to 11:30pm
Responsibilities Include:
1. Check out e-mail turnover to determine what needs to be done and when.
2. Maintain Trip Monitor updates with current information i.e. proofs of delivery, location updates, and problems.
3. The agents will put in the "tracking no." any information they would like specifically i.e. update customer at 2000 and 0200.
4. Every shipment must be updated every 4 hours. Even if it is a solo driver and will be down for 10 hours. You do not have to call the driver but update the location. An example would be the driver stops in Nashville, TN at 0200 for his break then at 0600 you will show the driver still in Nashville. If our customer checks the web site he will see the most current location.
5. Call carriers or drivers for location updates or arrival and departures. Check to confirm the location makes sense. If not verify location with driver or dispatch.
6. Update customers with macropoint and VF locations.
7. Call carriers prior to scheduled pick up or delivery time to insure they are running on time. If not find out why and notify agent.
8. Hard copy PODs - know which companies want them and the time frame they want to receive them. An example is Expeditors - within 24 hours. Know who is to receive it and the fax no. or e-mail address it goes to.
9. Panalpina - know how to update Ex-works with proof of delivery information.
10 Notes - put all your actions in the notes.
11. Problem shipments - turn over to the affected agent. It is your job to identify the problem, not solve it; unless it falls within your scope of responsibilities.
12. Send turnover to next shift via e-mail with shipments needing special attention.
