LOCATION: Shanghai, China
JOB TYPE: Direct Hire
SALARY: Commensurate with experience
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is rare and exciting opportunity to get international experience in mixed use projects such as hospitals, resorts, and casinos. While your clients will be the U.S., you will be based in Shanghai working for one of the most prestigious architectural firms in China. This will be about a 2 year commitment or more.
Must be able to independently accomplish tasks of electrical design for various types of buildings under the leadership of the project manager.
Communicate with clients, and solve the electrical engineering problems for various architectural projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Familiar with electrical engineering codes especially the Florida Building Codes and International Building Codes
• Play the major electrical engineering role on architectural projects from schematic design to shop drawings
• Design experience for large scale public buildings
• Bachelors degree or above for electrical engineering or related major
• Excellent professional skills including writing good engineering proposals
• Good at teamwork, communication, and coordination
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
• Registered Electrical Engineer
• 20 plus years’ experience desired
• Design of casinos experience is a huge plus
