Description:
The Residential Lending Support Program Manager is primarily responsible for the end-to-end management of all Loan Support Team projects. Projects will pertain to several topics which may include, but will not be limited to, Compliance, efficiency improvements to Process and Procedures, and Technical and Procedural systems enhancements. The Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, requirements, project governance, design, and testing. The Lending Support Program Manager is also responsible for the day-to-day management of the Know Your Customer (KYC) support team, whose primary objective is to provide assistance to Relationship Managers and Team Support for complex KYC questions. Additionally, the KYC support team will provide reviews of high risk clients and develop a quality assurance process within Residential Lending. The Program Manager must be able to make sound decisions and communicate effectively with the Loan Support teams, other departments of a varied nature, and senior management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as lead project manager on projects that impact Loan Support teams:
o Support the development and maintenance of an overall quality assurance/KYC program.
o Define and manage all aspects of project planning including scope, scheduling, process, procedure, and training opportunities.
• Direct detailed reviews of internal processes to verify accuracy and completeness. Develop and implement recommendations for strategic improvements as necessary.
• Direct the identification and resolution of analytical/tactical issues to assist in driving continuous improvement of day to day operations and internal client service processes.
• Identify project/program risks and collaborate with the project team and other business partners to mitigate any identified risks.
• Develop and maintain a Quality Assurance Program specific to the origination level that provides continuing education regarding First Line of Defense initiatives.
• Conduct performance reviews and other administrative supervisory activities.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
• Bachelor’s Degree required (Graduate Degree Preferred) and 1-3 years of management experience. 3-5 years of experience in loan origination.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Able to quickly forge effective working relationships with a variety of personalities.
• Proactive individual able to operate efficiently in a fast paced environment.
• Quick learner and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated skills in organization and strong attention to detail.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word / MS Outlook / MS Visio / MS PowerPoint/ MS Excel.
• Knowledge of residential loan origination processing/servicing systems.
