- Architect, design and modify the CDN/Network solutions with maximum flexibility to support rapid changes in order to expand and deploy next generation feature sets.
- Define and write architecture documentation.
- Manage and align multiple vendors to support the objectives of the architecture.
- Approve readiness of solution for integration/testing of all vendors.
- Define and promote best practices throughout development and into the operational and maintenance phases.
- Serve as the liaison with PMO for planning, scheduling, risk management and change requests.
Qualifications
- Several years of progressive experience as a Video Solution Engineer, IP Networking Engineer, CDN Engineer or related occupation
- Strong understanding of CDN architectures, solution and products.
- Experienced at managing multiple vendors to meet the objectives of the architecture
- Strong technical writing capabilities in order to write architecture and high level design documentation
- Strong technical knowledge of video solutions, architectures, products and protocols. o Head-ends, Transcoding, DRMs, Firewalls, nPVR o CDN, IP Networking, router and switching products
