Description:
Our Client is seeking a highly qualified Loan Project Manager/Director who will partner cross-functionally across the company to manage the execution of new mortgage products from development through customer delivery. The Loan Project Manager/Director will report to the General Manager (GM).
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for creating, building and managing every detail of how new mortgage loan products are implemented across the firm and launched to customers
• Responsible for the execution of mortgage loan program changes across the firm and to customers
• Work cross-functionally to ensure mortgage loan programs are implemented, optimized and running efficiently
• Requires close collaboration with: Mortgage Operations Product, Engineering, Capital Markets, Marketing, Credit & Risk Compliance, Legal Business Operations, and Sales
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time and within scope and budget
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Measure project performance and communicate to stakeholders/ GM
Requirements:
• 5 years minimum of relevant mortgage business experience
• Prior product or project management experience
• Knowledge of mortgage credit/underwriting
• Knowledge of process flow management software e.g., Gliffy, Gantt
• Demonstrated ability to work with a technology driven team to determine business requirements for technology engineering
• Ability to exhibit grace under pressure, while successfully navigating deadlines for work assignments/situations
• Strong people management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent work ethic, organizational and time management skills
