Oracle Functional Financials Solution Lead at SmartDog Services in Saint Louis, MO

In this role you will be in an Oracle Financials Functional Solution Architect role as part of our E-Business Applications Practice for SmartDog’s implementations and upgrades.

Employment Type: Full Time Employee
Travel Requirements: Monday Thursday weekly
Candidates located in Central and Southeastern, Eastern US
US Citizen or Green Card Holder

In addition, you will be tasked with the following project functions:

• Functional Financials Lead, responsible for implementing one or more modules
• Leading functional workshops educating customers on the product
• Developing future process flows and requirements
• Guiding and conducting unit testing and comprehensive testing
• Working with technical resources on data conversions, custom form reports
• Conducting end user training and development of training materials
• Architecting functional solutions for client projects

Do you have the following required skills & abilities?

• Prior knowledge and implementation experience in R12 Financials including the following applications: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payments, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management EB Tax and iExpense. Experience architecting functional solutions for EBS projects. Fusion Financial implementation experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge and experience with additional Oracle application areas (HRMS, Supply Chain, Projects, etc.)
• Familiarity with UPK desired
• Must have at least 5 Oracle EBS full lifecycle implementations, 3 of which must be in R12
• Detailed knowledge of Oracle’s Application Implementation Methodology (AIM)
• Ability to write functional specifications for technical development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Must possess strong leadership skills
• Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process
mapping; business process redesign and implementation
• Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management and support
• Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus on Finance/Accounting, or BA/BS degree and relevant work experience
