Seeking an Accounting Specialist SCAS
Our Client Company is a leading independent owner and operator of wireless communications infrastructure across North, Central and South America. The hourly compensation is $20 to $24 (non-exempt) with relocation assistance available.
The Accounting Specialist is primarily responsible for all aspects of the company’s Corporate Card Program, including Expense Watch System maintenance (i.e.; hierarchy, users, G/L accounts, etc.) and card issuance. Specific duties include managing and issuing distribution/cancellations of all corporate credit cards, and the resolution of all inquiries regarding credit card transactions, limits, declines, fraudulent items, etc. This individual also prepares credit card spend reports, including details around unusual spend activity, as well as reports for unapproved and/or unrecognized charges. This position is also accountable for monitoring and supporting EDI data processing in an accurate and timely manner. This can involve troubleshooting, improving data integration, and helping users related to EDI activities throughout the organization.
Requirements:
(Note: Only candidates with the following qualifications will be considered.)
• Associate’s degree in Accounting (BA preferred)
• Three+ years’ work experience with Corporate Card programs
• Prior experience as an EDI Specialist/Coordinator (a plus)
• Strong aptitude towards utilizing, supporting, and learning multiple applications/systems
• High level of proficiency in Excel
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical/reconciliation skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Demonstrated, strong written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external personnel.
• Ability to work efficiently independently
