Description:
Our Client is looking for a skilled lending professional to join its Lending Services team. As a Loan Administrator, you will support the team in various supporting functions. The Loan Administrator will support the entire suite of Loan products. The Loan Administrator will insure that all of the appropriate audit controls are adhered to throughout the process. You will be performing due diligence by reviewing all required client information and loan documentation to support the loan transaction to capture information to accurately fund and board and support the loans to the Client’s accounting and loan origination systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist Relationship Managers and Loan Teams with managing their workflow, questions regarding products, functionality, etc., providing options and escalating issues when appropriate.
• Accurately generate all required loan documentation within the expected service level. This includes working with third parties such as law firms.
• Validate the full and proper execution of loan documentation and fund the loans.
• Perform quality assurance on Know Your Customer (KYC) performed by the loan teams to ensure the Bank’s BSA/AML guidelines are met.
• Setup, modify, extend, or renew loans on the accounting system.
• Accurately process related payment and advance transactions to accounts.
• Generate and obtain documentation related to the collateral and file all appropriate liens/holds, etc., to secure collateral.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Available-for-Sale (AFS) Level III.
• Must have the ability to juggle demanding and ever-changing deadlines and priorities.
• Must possess strong analytical, process, and people skills.
• Must possess the ability to work proactively and operate accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with variable deadlines.
• Must possess demonstrated organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge or experience in private equity or venture capital lending.
