• Understand and execute circuit-cam work instructions
• Familiar with SMT components, SMT packaging and component polarity.
• Familiar with SMT equipment operation
• Knowledgeable of IPC SMT solderability requirements
Other duties and responsibilities
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
Minimum requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED
• 4 years or more experience in electronics manufacturing environment
• Prior SMT experience or demonstrated learning ability
• Working knowledge of shop mathematics is necessary.
• Read, write and understand English language
Abilities required
• Be able to perform light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of a productive/technical nature
• Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceive attributes of objects and materials
Weekend and overtime work may be required
