Description:
As a Loan Processing Team Lead/Manager, you will oversee a team of Loan Processors by monitoring overall compliance with regulations, efficiency, and developing plans for productivity improvements for processing operations. You will monitor results of internal audits and suspensions for areas needing improvement and provide additional training as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Direct oversight of every Loan Processor on his/her team.
• Continuously look for ways to improve our processes, both in terms of procedures and to ensure continuous efficiency and customer service improvement.
• Work closely with the other Processing Managers, as well as with all other Operations Departments (Quality Assurance, Closing, Underwriting, etc.) and Sales Managers in the departments to review overall branch performance.
• Work with Processing Trainer to develop training material, monitor new hires and processor trainees as well as assist in keeping training material current and relevant.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 5-7 years processing or underwriting experience in residential lending.
• Previous management experience in a mortgage operation.
• Effective business oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to continuously innovate; improve our processes and systems
• Effective management/supervisory skills & ability to utilize reports to effectively manage the loan pipeline
• Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with loan systems such as TotalPlus ML.
• Thorough knowledge of all mortgage banking products, services, processes and activities
• Thorough knowledge of all regulatory entities and requirements
