The primary function of the Metal Stud Framer is to work as part of the crew in completing construction projects in a timely manner with good quality. Additionally, our Metal Stud Framer must bewell versed in all the necessary elements of the construction project assigned. Skill, Knowledge, Abilities Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in metal stud framing
and acoustical ceiling installation. Thorough operating knowledge of all Metal Stud Framer/Acoustical Ceilings/Drywall Finisher hand tools and power tools. Ability to communicate well with both
management and crew. Ability to work with crew to successfully complete project. Ability to read blueprints and do material take-offs. Mental Problem-solving skills and common sense. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to take measurements and make calculations. Physical body positions used occasionally: Climbing, standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, balancing, squatting and kneeling. Able to lift and move up to 100 pounds occasionally. Use of hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning and moving materials and manipulating things. Work occurs primarily in on-site environment and may be indoors or outdoors. May sometimes involve heights, exposure to hot or cold weather, loud noises, dust and fumes. Must be willing to travel 50 to 60 miles as needed for job.
Must have valid driver’s license
* Experience in painting, carpentry, metal/stud framing or drywall finishing
