Description:
Our client is looking for a skilled lending professional to join its Commercial Loan Closing team. As a Commercial Loan Administrator, you will assist the loan teams in originating each commercial loan by ensuring that the loan is documentable and serviceable, creating loan and credit files, performing due diligence by obtaining all required client information to support the loan transaction, and consistently updating the commercial loan origination database. You will also review, perform the necessary due diligence on, and capture information to accurately generate and analyze loan and real estate documentation as well as fund and board the loans to the accounting system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist Relationship Managers and Loan Teams with managing their workflow, questions regarding products, functionality, etc., providing options and escalating issues when appropriate.
• Accurately generate all required loan and real estate documentation within the expected service level. This includes working with third parties such as title companies, etc.
• Validate the full and proper execution of loan documentation and fund the loans.
• Set up, modify, extend, or renew loans on the accounting system.
• Generate and obtain documentation related to the collateral and file all appropriate liens/holds, etc., to secure collateral.
• Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities or as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Two or more years of experience in commercial lending.
• Knowledge of the following loan products: Term Loans, Lines of Credit, Commercial Real Estate, Construction Loans, Film and Media Lending, Standbys Letters of Credit, and SBA Lending.
• Knowledge of residential and commercial loan systems (TotalPlus, ML and/or IL) and operations.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
• Three or more years of experience in Real Estate/CRE lending and/or exposure to other commercial loan products.
• Knowledge of AFS and CLO.
