Our client is seeking a Kokkos Developer
To support continued work on HSA enablement and our commitments under the Department of Energy Exascale Computing Initiative grants, the client is looking for an experienced C++ 11 developer. Working under the direction of a team leader for application characterization and optimization, the qualified candidate will be modifying C++ 11 template software frameworks to work with the client's hardware using the client’s C++ Kalmar compiler.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 5 years professional C++ development experience with deep knowledge of C++ 11 features. Experience developing code with C++ templates, functors and lambda functions is required.
- Knowledge of C++ AMP is highly desired.
- Experience submitting compiler bug reports and test cases is highly desired.
- Familiarity with the DOE proxy applications is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders is required as this position involves deep collaboration with outside customers and external compiler development teams while collaborating with internal department and engineering teams. This position will also involve occasional travel to US Department of Energy National laboratories.
While this is non-classified work, there is a preference for citizens of countries able to ork on U.S. government contracts without special permits or licenses.
Note : position that will consider remote work- but will have to come on site periodically
