Position Summary:
You will develops software for the point of sale application. Work with outside vendors to integrate cloud based tools into the application. Modify existing code to resolve issues. Interface with customers to assure developed code operates as expected.
Responsibilities:
•Design, develop, implement, and test changes to .
•Interact with users to learn and document requirements.
•Translate requirements into technical specifications for development.
•Work cooperatively with outside vendors of software applications to integrate and their tools into the software package.
•Provide second-tier support
•Design, develop and support data interfaces
•Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide support and troubleshooting as needed.
•Provide assistance to other IT staff members.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s in information technology or related field and 3 years of progressively responsible experience as an application developer.
Desired Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Knowledge of C#, NET, VB, and Javascript.
•Experience with Microsoft SQL Server development.
•Proficiency working with HTML and XML.
Understanding of established standards in business skills and programming.
•Excellent technical problem resolution skills with the ability to implement complex resolutions.
•Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
•Ability to work independently or within a team as needed.
•Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
•Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.
