The SAP Basis Performance Architect will support the Solution Manager in all aspects not limited to:
•Support existing landscape, plan for upgrades, system refreshes.
•Assist in day to day Basis operations, working to resolve technical issues.
•Work directly with business systems analysts, development teams and hosting partners with responsibility for technical configuration and administration of a large SAP installation with many SAP instances and many SAP business customers.
•Manage status reports and schedule deliverables for both support projects and for a global SAP rollout project.
•Provide project management and design support for the integration and operation for SAP ERP software and database management systems
Experience/Qualifications
•4 or more Years of experience with Solution Manager and integration into SAP solutions
•Experience in implementing strategy for proactively monitoring and analyzing data around infrastructure and business processes. Coordinate the business teams for requirements gathering, coordinate with vendor on architecture enhancements to deliver 24x7x365 optimal performance business to meet quality and operational objectives. Develop robust set of KPI’s to track and measure performance of SAP systems
•Experience in 2 or more of Solution Manager capabilities such as: RCA, Business Process Monitoring, EEM, IT monitoring and alerting, Job Control and schedule management.
•Familiar with XI/PI, BW, SRM, APO, security and GRC, GTS, Portal, Business Objects, including IDOC, RFC technology, EDI, Egate, FTP and other interface technologies
•Experience in Tracing, troubleshooting, different layers of SAP environment including Database
•Experience in all areas of SAP Basis including upgrades, client and landscape strategies, system refreshes, performance reporting, operational reviews, transport management, batch scheduling, Early watch and Go-Live checks, OSS research, disaster recovery planning and testing, performance tuning and troubleshooting at various levels including ABAP, Memory, Database, Application.
•Experience with networking and firewall concepts, including rules, log entries and NATs relative to integration into system solutions
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
4 or more Years of experience in Basis Operations with Solution Manager and RSLAF, SAP ECC
