Our client, in the Aerospace & Electronics industry, has several opportunities available at their Caldwell, NJ facility.
Caldwell, NJ is only 20 minutes from Newark, NJ, 15 minutes from Paterson, NJ or a hour from Jersey City, and about 40 minutes from Edison, NJ.
We are looking for candidates that will have experience in industries such as electronics, aerospace, mechanical or heavy/industrial manufacturing to be considered. Candidates that have worked with government, space or military contracts are encouraged to apply!
All the positions listed below are long term contract positions (up to 24 months)

** Plating Operators**
1st & 2nd Shift opportunities
Pay rate: $18-$22.00/hr DOE
• Read manufacturing and engineering instructions for plating and preparing materials in racks for plating.
• Maintain plating line to ensure proper plating results.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems.
• Maintain equipment according to manufacturing and engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronics, using hand and power tools.
• Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning equipment, using hand tools.
• Test plated material for conformance to specified plating thicknesses.
• Record data on testing results to assist engineers.
• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts.
• Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.
• Provide user applications and engineering support and recommendations for new and existing equipment with regard to installation, upgrade and enhancement.
• Performs other duties as required by business needs.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related experience required.
• Knowledge of practical application of plating processes. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the production of various goods.
• Knowledge of plating chemistry.

2nd Shift
• Proactively communicates errors and systemic trends to the quality organization.
• Works from blueprints, customer drawings, engineering change notices, military standards, and established operating procedures to determine acceptance, rejection or rework requirements of assembled units or supplier components.
• Inspection and/or testing of all production related electrical/mechanical components against established criteria
• In-process inspection of components as defined in the manufacturing process plan.
• Perform detailed and documented artwork and substrate inspections
• Highest level of accuracy in visual inspections to verify physical properties.
• Ensures the build and test manufacturing process has been completed.
• Direct interface with cell leads.
• Communicates errors and systemic trends to the quality organization.
• Enters data into software tools.
• Identifies new techniques and procedures.
• Able to perform any inspection assignment, with occasional supervision.
• Schedules and completes internal audits as needed.
• Drives Quality and Process continuous improvement
Requirements:
• 2+ years of related inspection experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pass eye exam (visual acuity).
• Ability to work long hours looking into a microscope.
• Skilled in the use of measurement tools and ESD procedures.
• Demonstrated experience proactively identifying errors and systematic trends.
• Demonstrated ability to follow complex work instructions.
• Demonstrated experience in an environment that requires attention to detail and focus.
• Demonstrated outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office.
** CNC Machinist**
3rd Shift Monday- Friday
$18-$24.00/hr DOE
• Operate & maintain Excellon CNC Century 2001 Router, Excellon CNC HVP Series drill, ADT Dicer, and Autoclave
• Work with blue prints and manufacturing procedures
• Able to perform math work to adjust programs accordingly
• Perform first article verifications
• Inspect the results with microscope
• Utilize experience and judgment gained from work as a technician
Minimum Requirements
• AAS, Military Electronics training or equivalent preferred
• 4+ years of experience as a drilling or routing technician in the printed circuit board manufacturing industry
• Must be able to read DXf files, drawings and procedures
• Must be proficient in CNC programming and operation
• Must be able to successfully pass all company related training modules
• Ability to set-up and operate standard and special purpose electronics test equipment.
** Machinist (Autoclave Operator) **
2nd Shift opportunity
$17-$19.00/hr DOE
• Operate & maintain Autoclave
• Runs automated equipment with dedicated software
• Prepares the material for the loads with requires lift of some heavy parts
• Utilize experience and judgment gained from work as a technician
• Preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment and parts
Minimum Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience as a machinist
• Must be able to lift 50lbs or less
• Must be able to read drawings and procedures
• Must be able to successfully pass all company related training modules
• Ability to set-up and operate standard and special purpose electronics test equipment
** Assemblers (Electronic & Mechanical background)**
3rd Shift opportunity

• Mil-Std experience preferred
• J-STD-001 certification/knowledge is required
• Ability to read/write English
• High school arithmetic
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• 2 years experience
