Our client is a leading full service provider of Colocation, Managed Hosting/Services, and Disaster Recovery Services in New England. They deliver over 70 services to support mission-critical applications through an expanding network of five SSAE 16 certified data centers located in New England.
Due to growth, they are adding a Project Manager to support new projects. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of data center infrastructure construction projects and customer installations. An essential part of this position includes producing detailed documentation and diagrams, including project specifications for new projects and ongoing infrastructure maintenance. These specifications are used in the creation of accurate budgets, project timeframes, and the negotiation of vendor contracts. You must possess a demonstrated ability to ensure vendor performance, while overseeing budget and schedule for complex projects. You will perform regular compliance reviews of internal processes/controls for all critical systems including EPA requirements for both Massachusetts and New Hampshire data center locations. This position also includes the management of landlord/tenant relationships at each of our locations.

• PMP Certification

Primary Responsibilities: Construction and Project Administration
• Establishes project requirements, priorities, and deadlines
• Create and establish the Master Project Schedule, based on the Critical Path and Key Projects
• Create and establish the Master Project Budget, including soft costs and hard costs, contingencies, allowances, etc.
• Create and establish project milestones, then update and enforce team compliance throughout a project lifecycle
• Oversee the Commissioning Plan and the Commissioning process to completion and final reporting
• Constructability review of the project documents that are created
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules of all location’s infrastructure
Job Qualifications:
• 4-8 Years Project Management experience for data centers/mission critical environments, building management, construction
• Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices. Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results.
Education and Experience:
• Minimum 4 to 7 years relevant and successful project management in construction experience Preferably in technology
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study. Minimum six years of related experience and/or training
• Masters in Project Manager or MBA
