Unique opportunity for an experienced manager to join a not-for-profit financial institution in the Uptown Park (inner loop) area as a full-time Branch Manager!
Essential Responsibilities
• Leadership - Build and develop branch staff by hiring, mentoring and promoting professional development; using the performance management system in coaching staff to exceed their annual performance objectives.
• Operational Excellence - Ensure compliance with operational, security and control policies/procedures, preventing fraud and protecting company and customer assets.
• Customer Service - Maintain a professional manner to build customer confidence and trust. Take ownership of complex account servicing and error resolution issues; Follow-up with issues as required; Project a positive image of the company through excellent and personalized level of customer service.
• Employee Engagement - Positively demonstrate leadership and teamwork by proactively assisting other branch colleagues when needed as well as actively participating and contributing to company goals.
Qualifications
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) with an emphasis in business administration or closely related field from two-year college and a minimum of three years related experience; or experience equivalent to that normally achieved through five or more years progressive experience in a related field
• At least three years of branch management experience within the past five years
• Strong knowledge of financial products, services, and client relationship management
• Proven ability of successful, efficient, and effective management and leadership of staff
• Must have a positive can do attitude and desire to grow within the company
• Ability to travel within the Houston area, as needed
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
