Our Client seeks Several Healthcare Sales/Account Representatives
Company provides customers with a comprehensive menu of laboratory tests and services. Company offers highly competitive 24-hour turnaround time of diagnostic tests; thus offering convenience in utilizing one laboratory for all diagnostic and clinical testing needs.
**Must be currently/recently working in a sales roles in a Point of Care Toxicology laboratory testing company. Can come from a drug-testing laboratory, or any other testing laboratory. They should have a strong book of business and contacts they can bring over to the new company.
LOCATION: Birmingham and Huntsville AL
Pay: Base DOE $55K to 65K or more Plus Commission per Sample

DESCRIPTION:
The Point of Care (POC) (POCT) Diagnostic Test Sales/Account Representative is responsible for closing new business in the laboratory testing market. Sales/Account Representative is will call on physician practices and specialty clinics.
Responsibilities
• Drive sales in assigned districts through up selling of existing accounts, new lead generation, referrals and establishing relationships with prospective customers
• Target and close new laboratory testing opportunities
• Understands key customer needs; able to articulate benefits of POCT products to target customers at various levels; uses good business judgment, and negotiation skills.
• Provide subject matter expertise for associated diagnostic testing
• Prepare and present proposals and bids
• Ensure compliance with company polices and government regulations
• Complete all administrative tasks thoroughly and promptly
REQUIREMENTS:
• Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and general economics of business.
• Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships; strong planning and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Solid PC skill including Microsoft Software.
Experience:
• 3+ or more years of previous Point of Care sales experience in selling business to business with a history of documented sales success.
• Prior responsibility for closing new business and expanding existing relationships. Ability to speak to decision makers at individual accounts to drive new business.
• Prefer experience in healthcare, laboratory and/or diagnostics sales selling to medical professionals
Special Requirements:
• Candidate must have residency in close proximity of territory.
• A valid driver's license.
• A motor vehicle record in good standing.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Life Sciences.
