Your role:
As Onsite Technical Packaging Proofreader for one of our major clients from the Pharmaceutical Industry, you will report to the Account Director.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s in English, Journalism, Communication or a similar field. You must have a minimum of seven years of proofreading experience in the Pharmaceutical or Consumer Health industry. We are seeking a detail- oriented individual, with good communication skills and a strong command of grammar and precision.
In this position, you will proofread all packaging artworks to ensure all changes were adhered to prior to print production. Industry experience is key in this role, as you will also be required to proofread FDA submission documents. This will be a fast- paced position in a busy environment; you must thrive under tight deadlines.
Specific responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Ensure accuracy of all reviewed materials
- Proofread items prior to print production
- Proofread documents for submission to FDA
- Liaise with art working and client regulatory teams
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience proofreading for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consumer OTC or equivalent experience
• Detail oriented with exceptional proofreading skills
• Strong command of English grammar and good communication skills
• Ability to work quickly and confidently under tight deadlines
• Proofreading and technical writing skills, required
• Experience with applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Attention to detail is a must
• Professionalism in both oral and written communication
• Experience and familiarity with medical terminology
• Bachelors Degree
