Job Description
We are looking for a seller/leader/doer type individual for a leadership role in the Houston, TX area. This individual will serve as a Client Manager and focus on transportation projects in the area. We are looking for a superstar who really enjoys the hunt to win work; someone who knows how to bring work in the door. This individual should know how to create and develop winning proposals, build and lead a successful team, and be recognized by the local authorities and municipalities. The individual in this role will have the ability to set the vision and orchestrate a strategy to grow the practice accelerate it to the next level.
This role will focus on TxDOT, City of Houston, Harris County and/or anything related to area rail. We are looking for a well-connected Registered PE to be the new face for, lead, and re-energize an already successful office with an established practice to take it from where it is now to the next phase of growth. This individual should be able to bring new connections/new clients to the firm, currently be selling a minimum of $2M/year of work in transportation (highway/roadway/bridge/rail), be 30% billable, and have a flair for client relations and leadership.
Our client is a Top 10 Transportation firm providing planning, design, and engineering services for all phases of road, bridge, rail active transportation, and transit projects. They have a large presence in Texas with several offices throughout the state. They are committed to being the Top Firm in Texas and are looking for the right individuals to help catapult them to the top.
Must Haves
Registered PE, knowledge of and experience with TxDOT, City of Houston, Harris County and/or anything related to area rail, should be able to bring new connections/new clients to the firm, 30% billable, and have a flair for client relations and leadership
