Job Description
RadioTherapy (RT) Control System Software QA team is looking for a Software QA Engineer to test our flagship product, a revolutionary radiation therapy system that provides a unique combination of simultaneous radiation therapy delivery and continuous magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for the treatment of cancer.
As part of RT Control System Software QA engineering your challenge will be testing RT Control System and its interface with various functional subsystems of the product.
Position Responsibilities
Analyze engineering requirements and implement test protocols for regression, system and performance tests, ensuring 100% test coverage.
Execute test protocols and report the results.
Work with engineering to review and improve requirements and test protocols.
Log bugs in the bug tracking system with steps to reproduce and any attachments.
Collaborate with engineering to help troubleshoot issues.
Write software tools to help with verification activities.
Follow FDA regulation and company’s quality process during product verification and validation.
Participate in risk assessment activities applying your knowledge of industry risk standards such as ISO 14971.
Work well with cross functional teams and constantly strive to improve the quality process.
Qualifications Strong oral and written communication skills.
Work collaboratively in a geographically dispersed team environment to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards.
Proven aptitude for learning new technologies.
Follow standard engineering principles and practice.
Strong problem solver.
Experience in embedded software development is preferable.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronics drawings, blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams is preferable.
Knowledge in at least one programming language: C/C++, C#, Java, Perl, Python, etc. is preferable.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent degree. Minimum 5 years work experience in Medical Device industry.
