Job Description
Organizes and administers the operation of the SNF units according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and units in order to assure the highest quality of patient care
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Leadership
•Demonstrates excellent knowledge of hospital-wide policies and procedures and serves as a resource person for staff under supervision to ensure the conduct of business in conformance with them.
•Assumes responsibility for maintaining the currency of department policies and procedures, the communications of pertinent changes the appropriate personnel hospital-wide, and ensures the departmental staff has a good working knowledge of them.
•Maintains full compliance with Title 22, CMS, OSHA, and Life Safety Code standards and regulations as well all other regulatory agencies governing the activities of the department. Stays current with TJC requirements, standards and ensures compliance with all activities within the department
