Alterra Home Loans, a mortgage bank located in Kirkland, WA, is seeking a highly motivated individual to provide client support to our Loan Officers.
As a Mortgage Loan Assistant you will be assigned to Loan Officers to assist in administrative tasks associated with proper submission of loan files and loan document follow up. As an MLA, you will work in tandem with our Loan Officers to assist and support the various aspects of the loan process, to include copying, scanning & filing. In addition, you will work with pertinent financial information, including loan applications, credit reports, disclosures, transcripts, and loan program information and gain exposure to the loan process. Mortgage Loan Assistants are prohibited from performing any activity that requires either a Federal or State Mortgage License.
QUALIFICATIONS
An ideal candidate will have:
You must have 3 years of current experience.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task in an environment where priorities and needs change quickly.
Experience with technology solutions and applications.
Highly driven, self-managed individual who demonstrates initiative & proactively seeks solutions to problems.
Good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to interact effectively with your team.
Prior customer service experience is a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good understanding of mortgage banking is a plus.
