Mechanical Assembler
Location: Collegeville, PA
Pay Rate: $14-$16.00/hr DOE
Shift: 2nd Shift there may be opportunities in the 1st Shift as well.
Equipment manufacturer seeks individual for assembling and building of food-packaging machinery.
Qualifications include; Technical School Graduate and or 3-5 years of manufacturing related experience
Applicant need to have the following:
•All tools required to build machines, knowledge of their use
•Above average mechanical skills
•Read and understand blueprints
•Good communication skills
•Good time management skills
•The ability to work independently
•Experience setting up & running manual milling machines, lathes, drill presses and other shop equipment
•PC skills.
•Knowledge of pneumatic systems
The following experience is a plus:
Part and component inspection
Test equipment operation and use
Knowledge of motion control systems (servo & stepper motor and drives)
Knowledge of ac/dc motors and controls
Welding skills
Ability to read / understand schematics and wiring control panels
Experience with process control devices, PLCs, sensors, etc
Candidates with experience or recent grads with exposure/experience mentioned above are encouraged to apply!
