Position: Senior Financial Analyst
Location: 2222 Qume Drive San Jose CA 95131 United States
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Qualifications:
• 5-8 years accounting/finance experience
• Experience of business partnering, preparing company budgets and working with multi-site, complex environments are required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of the organization
• Ability to use analytical and business case development skills to identify and drive process improvement
• Ability to anticipate problems and challenge management decisions
• Attention to detail and quality processes
• Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy
• Ability to work well with groups or in teams • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)
• Experience with SAP, BPC and HFM strongly preferred
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA, MBA, CMA, or other financial certifications are preferred
Responsibilities:
• The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide finance leadership and decision support during annual business planning process and quarterly forecast for R&D, Clinical and Regulatory organizations
• Manage forecasting, planning, latest thinking processes as well as monthly and quarterly closing activities related to expense, i.e. work with budget owners to make sure all the expenses are properly accounted for by accruals
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist Sr. Manager Sales and Service Finance in providing financial support to the VP of Sales and Service organization and his leadership.
• Candidate will be specifically responsible for supporting the Services and Instrumentation product lines
• Proactively support budgeting and forecasting cycles and all the related activities including presentations to the executive leadership • Support the monthly close process including some G/L entries, reporting packages etc * Run existing and create new daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting packages. * Understand business needs and provide excel models, business visibility tools to facilitate decision making ...
