Job Title: Ink Filler/ Ink Packer
Pay Rate: $12.50 /hr Hourly
Hours: Flexible Overtime as Needed, Some Saturdays Required
Typical Hours are 7:15 am -3:45 pm
Summary Description:
The purpose and function of this job is to pack inks and coatings as required.
Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for:
•Operating the plant equipment, scales, and mixers.
•Operating any other equipment assigned by management.
•Maintaining accurate log and records.
•Assisting Group Leader/ Production Manager with inventory control.
•Assisting with the Preventive Maintenance Program.
•Assist with proper labeling of inks and chemicals.
•Assisting with monthly safety inspections.
•Cleaning tanks, totes, lids, containers, etc.
•Using and proper storage of PPE equipment.
•Housekeeping and other related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or GED. Some college or technical training preferred.
•Read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide proficiently.
•Ability to work with hazardous chemicals.
•Physical ability to lift 55-pound bags and move 55-gallon drums.
•Operate a forklift safely.
•Must be able to wear a full face respirator.
