SUMMARY:
Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic I for our fast-paced manufacturing client to repair and maintain mechanical equipment used in the production and packaging of goods.
RESPONSIBILITIES:•Work with other mechanics and managers to quickly resolve any malfunctions.
•Effectively and safely operates standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment.
•Perform preventative maintenance on daily basis.
•Wide-range of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting as needed
•Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
•Follow departmental policies and procedures including safety related items.
•Identify, document, and repair broken-down equipment.
•Active participation in emergency procedures regarding power failures.
QUALIFICATIONS:•Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
•3+ years of experience supervising a team of 20 or more
•manufacturing related experience required
•Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics at 50%.
•Lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement experience
•Proficiency in MS Office suite
•Ability to work 12 hours work days
