SUMMARY:
Management Business Solutions is seeking an SAW Grant Manager for our client in south west Michigan. You will assist communities in developing an asset management programs for stormwater and wastewater collection systems and treatment plants, storm-water management plans, and/or planning and design of storm-water and wastewater projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Manage staff to complete the activities defined in the scope of work
•Manage SAW projects and ongoing asset management plans internally and with clients
•Maintain grants and project information and track this using a work flow management information system
•Prepare deliverables for asset management to client
•Understands client perspective and needs and effectively communicate data found
•Maintain copies of all invoices and payments to provide audit trail that shows safe and sound financial management practices
•Understanding of economics, rates, and financing
•Working with a wide range of clients and staff types to meet deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business and/or related field with at least (3) years’ work experience relevant to job description.
•2+ years of experience in managing others
•Ability to travel between multiple offices
•Strong communication skills are critical
•Some knowledge of construction preferred
•Some Wastewater and Stromwater knowledge preferred
•Proficiency in modern computer software including Windows 7 Microsoft Office suite.
•Experience with GIS and other applications a plus
